Project still a UFO.

I wanted to make a table runner that was featured in an old Country Threads magazine, but not using their designs.  Instead I looked for Nativity patterns, but couldn't find any stitching patterns anywhere, so I traced four designs from a Christmas craft book and stitched them.  I've got one lot of fabric to make up the runner, but need another for the border, and naturally I don't have the right one in my stash! So I'll be shopping around tomorrow to see if I can find what I need.

Catch up

Sometimes life gets busy and posts get pushed aside till "tomorrow".  Finally here is my June "tomorrow" post.
This is the first finish from the mini kit, "Christmas Maidens 1" from Petals and Patches, which I bought on the Quilters Trail last month.  I have more stitcheries completed and ready to make up.

I was finally able to find the thread (YAY) I needed to finish off my May stitchery.  The next stitcheries are under way, and I am sourcing fabrics to make up the quilt. This is a Gail Pan design - "Busy Little Christmas Elves".

PASS Please

A cheery hello to all the lovely Elves.  It's fantastic to see all the pretty makes for the month of June and warming to read all your lovely comments to one another. As the wind howls outside my door I can picture a busy workshop with a toasty fire .... I'll designate myself the hot chocolate lady if you like. Of course if you're in the north you might like a cool breeze through open windows and I'll designate myself the cool refreshing drinks lady :)

As for my request for a Pass this month, I just haven't been able to get my schedule around everything that seems to need my attention and is keeping me away from sewing. The best part has been welcoming our first grandchild/grandson who decided he was introducing himself one month early. Mum, dad and baby Jake are all doing well and I managed to have lots of cuddle time last Saturday.

Wishing everyone happy sewing and remember .... it's never too late to get a head start.

June Finish

Made it just in time for June. :)
