Catching Up and Moving Forward

Hello There!

Life has been a bit hectic since I last posted, but now it's very slow.  Since July I've been making more frequent trips to El Paso to help take care of my parents, at times spending a night or two with them.  In late September, they along with my sister and her husband relocated to San Diego.  Alas, how I miss them!

In the interim since my last post, I finished this mitten set,

and this set!

I'm now stitching up this set.
We went to Mama's house to clean out her pantry
and I found this tray there.
I brought it home.
Reminds me of her.

Even though the month is almost over, I'll be choosing the
annual Christmas gifts to make for my granchildren.
I'm way behind schedule,
but I'm sure I'll be able to make them something they'll enjoy!

Take good care and Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate!

They are all adorable! Our last few months have gone crazy as well. I get in my head these great ideas (plans, decor, gifts etc) for holidays and a lot of the time I get most of it done even but this year....I'm just putting my head down and doing one day at a time, taking things as they come! It has been a beautiful fall in so many ways and there is much to celebrate so I'm doing my best to focus on that (even though my creative side is twitching and slightly freaking out! LOL). Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone on here!

Yes! I agree with you - one day at time. I do get lost in the beauty nature offers in the fall. Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone here as well! :)

Thank you! I’m working on a third set. They’re fun to stitch up.
