My July Christmas project is this little mini-quilt

from Kim Diehl's book Simple Whatnots.

In taking it around my home for a "photo shoot"

I've discovered that I really like it where it's at

so:  is it a Christmas gift?.....

....or practice for making a Christmas gift?!?
