May's Xmas Finish
This month I have completed the final stitchery in "Down Reindeer Lane" from Michelle at Rag-Tag Stitchin'. Seven stitcheries completed - now to put them together -
Aren't they the cutest? Hopefully I'll have the completed top to show you next month. Now what other xmas ufo can I finish. Cheryl

May already...
It's been a while since I completed anything for 1 Xmas Item a Month but this month I found my mojo a little and did some more work on my Anni Downs Wall Hanging - it's coming along nicely ......... (I've even chosen the fabrics for the next block).
I've also finished a small stitchery..
All in all a productive time......

Welcome Santa!
May is here! Well nearly over actually! I have been plodding away on this wool felt penny rug for the last couple of months. While working on my customers quilts today, I had to stop for a few coffee stops, so I finished the last few pennies.
Except Santa's mustache & beard all the wool felt is up- cycled from woolen jackets etc. I got the pattern from #20 Homespun magazine.
Now that he is made, sadly he is put away until it's time to decorate at Christmas, here he is in my big red sea chest. Sleep time Santa!
Once again, thanks Narelle for hosting this cool idea.

Christmas Treats
Here is my finish for May. I received the stitchery as a gift from Cath at Bits & Bobs for leaving a comment on her blog. I decided to make the stitchery into a small runner so that I can use it as a centre piece on my coffee table in the lounge over Xmas. That way sweet treats will be ready whenever the grandchildren visit.
Thank you to Narelle for again hosting this blog.
See you next month...... Hugs......

A Handy Finish
Yesterday I got busy ... found my tea towel stash ... dug out a fat 1/4 ... and got sewing. I've been wanting to make some of these hand towels for ages so off to the lovely Cheryll's for a tutorial and finished stitching the buttons on last night just in time.
Into the gift box ready for Christmas with more of these to follow I'm sure :o)

Three Items
This month I placed festive borders on plain old dish towels....& WOW what a difference! The idea was in Patchwork & Stitching Magazine Vol 12 #8 & I've had it marked for ages. May was chosen as the month to get some done! Thanks Narelle and also ALL the elves for making this monthly make so enjoyable.

Meet 'Peter Polar Bear'
He is the second in the Advent Animals series by Brooke Nolan. I am still not decided on how to use them but I do know it will be some kind of advent calendar.
I know I am a bit early this month but once the weekend is here I tend to forget to do things. ;-)

Finish for April
Sorry I am late with posting my finish, completed it a couple of days ago. I have made a Rosalie Quinlan Christmas heart hanging. I used red Aurifil thread and am really happy with how it turned out.
Hugs till next month

A knitted item for April
Another gift to put into the Christmas box. I have used the same pattern (differnet colours) many times because I like it very much. This pair will fit a 4-5 year old child.
Have a wonderful start on May! It's spring here, but it came some snowflakes earlier today :-(

April's stitchery
I am just scraping into April, though I have had this embroidery finished for a few days.
Last month I did a bird embroidery, and now this is another one. I have a third ready to stitch now. I am thinking I will do a few more then make ......ummm..... something. (table topper, runner, placemats, or something different ) I will decide when I have more of them as it depends on how many stitcheries I find to do.
