April 1XMAS

I managed to finish this Table topper with matching mug rugs from a fat quarter bundle I've had for ages.  Might have to give these to DH so I can keep them in our family, not sure I can give them away!

Now to see what the other elves have been up to!  Happy Stitching!

Down Reindeer Lane

I have finished one more block in my ongoing project "Down Reindeer Lane", a design from Michelle at Ragtag Stitchin'. One block left to go, yah - then the big job of putting it together. Thankyou Narelle for your encouragement as always to get our xmas projects and gifts finished.

April ~ 1 Block and a Gift

My goodness you girls are quick off the mark this month ... I see lots of busy, happy Elves with gorgeous projects.

I've managed to finish my first block of  'A Merry Christmas Garden' ...

a lot of work but I'm happy with my attempt at needle turn applique.

Two days before our local show I decided I needed to enter a pincushion so out came the 2.5" squares ...

pretty chuffed that it got a 2nd place and now it's going into the Xmas gift stash.

Happy Christmas sewing to all xx

My 1 Xmas item a month

some cross stitching for christmas

 A cross stitch bell pull.
Yay made it for this month too!
Now to get organised for next month...
Happy stitching.

Patchwork tree, April project.

Knowing this month was going to be busy, I made this little hanging tree in March so I wouldn't get left behind!  It is simply a bunch of Christmas scraps all cut into 2" squares, sewn together, then cut into the tree shape.  It is backed with red Christmas fabric.

The Easter Bunny has hopped away................................

Hello poppets!
Here's hoping your Easter was a happy one. I managed to stitch up another primitive Santa goodie bag to put in my gift box.

Using a Cottage Garden thread 'Kangaroo Paw" for the stitching over a primitive muslin. I used one of Lynette Anderson's Christmas fabrics for the backing & lining of this goodie bag. Then some rusty bells for embellishment.
See you all next month..............................

April Project

She is part of a bigger project and available as a free pattern on Brooke Nolan's website.
I have not yet decided what to do with the little critters but several ideas are swirling around my head at the moment.

Two GifTs

Small items this month... Lime Green Toppers on brown towels... but one family member wants them... so into the gift box they go...

Thanks Narelle... for another month of gift making!
Hugs Cheryll
