Crazy Quilted Christmas Stocking

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Earlier this year, I shared progress on this crazy quilted stocking for my son. I finished it at 9:03 p.m. on December 23rd - just in time for Santa to fill it on his visit Christmas Eve.

Way back in August of 2015, I shared the completed stitching on the Freebie Santa and the Mouse Ornament (retired) from Heaven and Earth Designs. I love the artwork by Scott Gustafson.
This December, I finally had it framed.

Narelle, thank you for the workshop!
I have loved seeing all of the creations shared by the other elves.
A list of projects is in the works for each month in 2018.

December Bells Are Ringing

Christmas Wishes to everyelf from this very tardy chief elf. Big thank you to those who have continued to post and visit our little workshop ... what can I say but something had to take a backseat and sadly it has been my crafting. I did manage to complete my November block for A Holly Cottage Christmas.

If you managed 1 item a month (or more), or just 1 this year then you made a head start for a less stressed Christmas. Now take the time to enjoy wrapping your gifts or displaying your beautiful decorations.

As its only early in December, there's still time to whip up something special. Joy @ Days Filled With Joy is sharing her "12 Days of Last Minute Christmas Gifts".  Pop over and check out the tutorials for some quick and cute ideas. Thanks Joy

Please continue to share any makes for December and may your Christmas be filled with love and peace xx

A Flying Start

Welcome 2017 and a big welcome back to our workshop for another year of creativity, friendship and a head start on gifting and decorating for Christmas 2017.

Already January has been a busy month ... we welcomed a new grandson to our family ... first child for our daughter and hubby ... meet Parker.

My sewing priority has been working on a quilt for him ... seen here on my blog ... and of course back to work but once routine is established (is that at all possible?) there will be Christmas sewing and knitting and crochet. Always need more dishcloths, washcloths etc.

Same rules for the workshop in 2017:

#  Make an item to decorate or be gifted  OR  make progress on a long term Christmas project

#  Post with a pic (unless it's a secret) on our blog each month from the 25th

#  Don't stress if you miss a month ... I'm sure that will happen to me too

#  If using labels at the bottom of your post, please use the month/year provided and your name or blog name

#  As you make a post each month, I will be adding a letter to your link on the right sidebar as an added insentive to keep in touch

Happy Christmas Crafting
